is there any reason i can not use my flex plate on the 98 exployer with my c4 they both have the same number teeth. also does anyone know what year this c4 is.

looks like an 81. i dont know about the flexplate. never used a c4

If teeth check the same, diameter the same and converter studs will match up I would not be afraid to bolt it up and let her fly. The main thing is once the block is bolted tight to the tranny you should be able to wiggle the converter studs back and forth in flexplate. If you cannot move the studs back and forth then you have a problem.

I dont see why it wouldnt as long as it all bolts up. Just make sure it has the correct counterbalance for your crank and balancer otherwise it may have a vibtarion.
