Yes I run the mobil 1 gold cap in it. From what I've read online the oily fumes cake on there from the heat of the motor and lack of any gasoline spraying in there to clean it. On the BMW forums there are lots of threads of people trying to combat it. Catch cans, methanol injection etc. Nothing works. At best they slow the process down but the ultimate end result is the same.cgrey8 wrote:Was the engine you are showing there using synthetic oil???
