Man, I just got it running and put new rubber on it and I find out that the trans is toast.

Not sure, once it hits 60km it drops out of gear.

Are you sure pressure cable is adjusted properly?

I was going to say that with a trans in good condition, it's usually the improper adjustment of the cable that causes failure.
