Heated o2 sensor

Post by Soul »

Did mustang come with heated o2 sensors? Reason I'm asking I have long tube headers and saw this was a way to circumvent mounting them in a primary. Ideas? Thoughts?

Don't want it running pig rich and the bung is at the collector about 2 ft from head.

yes they did .... mine are 3 wire ones... and in my mustang i had long tubes also and they were at the collector also ... and now i got the long tubes in my ranger project(not the Mustang headers.... i got Kaufman ones) and the O2 sensors are on the collectors too... but i doubt ill be using them ... but will install them to stop the exhaust leaks ....lol.....

Does the heated o2 part of it resolve the heat and distance issue?
