I gotta know, who's building that?? Is it someone you know or did you just find the pic somewhere??? I've been wanting to do that but I already have too much time and money in my 302 to turn back. I think that would be just awesome to have that in a ranger!!!

Click the link above the picture.

I'll update the post so you can click the picture too. Unfortunately, it's not an individual that's doing it for himself. It's a speedshop doing it for a customer. To me, that kinda cheapens the effort. But it's still a V8 Ranger and it'll get finished out with a T56 and blower. So I guess I gotta respect that.

Oh, duh. Didn't even see the link, all I saw was a modular 5.0 in a ranger!

Boy that picture and info is sure going around fast! Think it's posted on TRS in three different places and at least one on RPS. The new motor runs about $6300 and the stand alone electroncs run another $1200-1500. Then throw in all the fabrication to get it to fit. Sure the prices will come down but it's a whole new world working on them. I compare it to the backyard Joes who 60 years ago could tear down a flathead motor in their sleep and now the hot competion is the OHV motors.
