So made crazy progress in the beginning and stalled out due to funds and illness, got back on track and now its running . Have to trim throttle cable to fit and hook up transcooler. Sounds mean, sadly the timing gears don't really make any noise.

i.de say but when you have the gear driven timing it usually sounds like you have a blower and that could be miss leading.

When I listened to that video you posted, thought right away that there was a gear drive in it. I think you can get the gear drives either loud, with the blower whine or quiet.

I have a pic of it in but embarrassed as it looks like a rat nest with all the TC wiring poked out of the way. I have a sound clip but it is just ROAR with 3inch dump out of the open headers . Exhaust is next then driving, ordered stuff for it already.

I think most are quiet but Summet has both the loud and quiet versions, depends on how the teeth are cut. Lost my blower whine when I upgraded to the new four lobe design.

Mine was supposed to be "Super Noisy" and has big square cut teeth on it, but it wasn't very loud. Why I got these though, there was a chevy truck that ran around town that you could hear "whining" from 2 blocks away. I was like MAN his blower was loud but it turned out to be gears.

But the down side is you have someone pull up next to you thinking you're sporting a blower and he finally has a real race and when the light goes green you got nothing and he's long gone

thats not happen with me, been in about ten races like that and no one has touched me yet. my truck is quick and has lots of torch and good tread where the tire wont spin they grip. Actually put grooves from both wheels in front of my house doin a lil power break with about 7 revelotions.
