How to embarrass your self at the drag strip!

Post by Dave »

Got this off a Mustang site.

What NOT to do at the track lol

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i had an uneventful closing weekend at the track..

once again,reggie was right

my tires are pretty worn, and they dont hook like they used to..best 60ft was 1.71..

60ft was a lousy 1.81 on this video im about to post

thought this was pretty funny

my car ran a 12.51 with a 1.81 60 ft on this pass..

next pass i made was a 12.29 with a 1.71,which was the best pass of the night..

followed by a 12.35 dial in,which led to a break-out loss in the 3rd round 12.33(on the brakes) on my 12.35 dial

-------------

But the highlight of the night..this kid was in a hurry..after i finished my burnout,he must have thought we were street racing and just took off all the way down the track..never even staged the car..nice job buddy!

I've also seen the lights go down to green and the car just sits there for like 30 seconds and suddenly realizes he was supposed to go and then suddenly takes off LOL. On grudge nights at our local track it's a run what you brung type deal and you see some funny stuff.
