Yepper, second time he has been in a plane crash and walked away. Kinda wild, I would only hope I have that kind of luck.

Thought for sure I had posted this here. He came in too low and too slow, cliped a wing, spun around 180. Plane broke in half but no fire. Jack and his passenger were both able to walk out of the plane. He was over here with C. Shelby for the auction of the SR-71 Mustang they build together. Skys get really busy up here this time of the year. Were going to have 50 DC-3's come in for their 75th anniversary. Had six of the old war birds come over the other day flying in formation.

Dave, didn't realize you were right by the air show. A very good buddy of mine is a pilot and flies up to Oshkosh every year. I was going to fly up with him this year but to many other commitments made me skip.

Malcolm,
I'm about 50 miles West of there. Lot of planes stop or stay for the night here. Was going over today to see all the Mustangs (cars) but it started to sprinkle and looked like more was coming. They invite 70-75 of the best Mustangs in the Mid-West to come and be judged, including Mr. Shelby. President of the local club was invited last year and got his signed by Carol, only mistic colored so far to be signed by him, We've had so much rain they have even moved some of the campers. Life goes on, just enjoy it.
Later - Dave
Oh, that Mustang SR-71 they both worked on sold for $375K, give or take.
