Chris, your right on that motor plant. It was also listed as sold before.
Mustangs and Rangers were built here:
VIN (T) Edison Assembly Edison, New Jersey USA Closed (2004) Ford Ranger 1948-2004 Demolished 2005 Also known as Metuchen Assembly
The normal motors we think of Windsors came from here, I think there was also a Ford motor with the Essex name
Essex Aluminum Windsor, Ontario Canada Sold (2009)4.6L, 5.4L V8 & 6.8L V10 cylinder heads Sold to Nemak; scheduled to close 1st quarter 2009
I bet the new motor will take the name "Cotote". That name dates back to Ford's racing days at Indy with Gurney and Weslake.
