yep' it's white now. just a base coat right now. i'm still looking at it trying to decide what to air brush on it. yes i do the air brush thing. i've done a couple of my semi trucks in the past. oh ..clicking on pictures does make them bigger.

the changes i've made lately. the new evac system. no more oil blow's out the seals or breathers, but at speeds over 3000 rpm it starts to suck oil out the evack system into the exhaust. makes it smoke out the exhaust. still playing with that.you can see the big lines coming out of the breathers down to collecters on headers.
the big change is the blower ratio. the last video with it running was ok, but it seemed like it was strugling at idle. so i upped the timing to 22 degree advanced and 24 degree in the dizzy, total of 46 degree's. the stroker really liked that and the temperature droped down too. dont run near as hot! still strugling at idle though. like not enough air. the blower drive i got is 10% under driven. i flipped the pullies, that made it 10% overdriven. it came alive. idle's great and can blow the tire' up in smoke in drive at 60 mph. just have to keep the rev's down to keep it together. dont like that big boom.

The truck looks fantastic. And that's some good news about the cooling for you because I have the same problem but let's see what my tuner says about that.
Now the only thing missing is a video of it owning the streets  After you fix the idle problem. Sounds like you and me have the same problems lol

We should meet up one day!!!

So that's the woman that puts up with you. Tell her she seems to be doing a good job. You're another one with a never ending project. My trucks now have kind of a two tone paint job on them, the top surfaces are all white. I don't like it! Winter sucks already.
DAve - waiting for a video

Dave, winter heading in this way too. I can't believe we've seen freezing temps already.

you guys are all cooling down and we have had a heat index of 100 to 104 all week here. dave gave me a idea, airbrush my truck like it has snow on top of it. maybe trick my truck into thinking it's winter time. do you think it will run cooler then?
going to muffler shop to get bigger mufflers on it this morning. it has two flowmasters that are 6 inch's long on it now. cant talk in it ,can't hear cell phone, neighbors complain a little bit, and cars next to me on road roll up thier windows. my home town put new law on books yesterday about loud radio's. $160 plus $86 court cost for first time, more second time, third time pull your lisence. cant have that!!
that girl and i have been together for 38 years, i dont know what i would do without her. she is just perfect...the old trucker

I'm not a hunter, don't even shoot the Gofers here anymore, Chipmonks are a different story. Anyway, someguy got a 30 point buck this year, field dressed out at 225 lbs. Season has been open for awhile.

I like the white color, look's real good.

Hey, if you get the time, would you feel like taking some pictures of the setup you got for your tilt front end?

Me and my old man were talking about doing it with mine. I know your's is fiberglass, mine would just be steel but getting all that crap out of the way would make life much much easier when it comes time to work on it.

So if you feel like taking pictures of your hinges and radiator mount, I'd appreciate it. :D
