I was wondering the same thing. I called the Grumpy Dwarf down in Miss the other day and he said he was sick of the rain, don't think it's stopped since. Up here we've only had 1/8" all month with above avg. temps.

We have had rain in East Tennessee for about 2 weeks

We had sunshine alittle yesterday but the rain is suppose to start back on Wednesday morning.

Hate to whine , it could be worse.

It's a real mess here, but my area didn't get the worst of it. The worst was due south of me, but there are still some areas that are torn all up from the flooding. Monday was an interesting drive home. There was literally 1 route to get me home that was still open and it was a 2 hr drive...where normally I'm home in less than 30 min. All-n-all, I'm just fortunate that my house, and everybody we know's house is not flooded. Today a majority of the roads that could be reopened are. In a few days, it'll be like nothing happened, but the areas that have washed out bridges will be out of commission for quite some time I suspect.
