hard to see but i have plenty of room next to heater box
I know the engine compartment is a wiring mess but it works for now will have to go back and neaten it up when i have spare time. most of the wires are stock ranger stuff that came off the 4cyl and the alt is out of a v-6 mustang so it plugs in to the stock ranger alternator wire. its really hard to see much i had to make the pic so small to fit on here. stock elec speedo works off an explorer computer and wiring harness i think its out of a v6 also i have the wires to make the oil press and temp gauges work but as of now i have aftermarket gauges, ac compressor is out of an f-150 along with the bracket it sits on that way i can use an f-150 ac line and manifold assy that will use the quick coupler ends on the drier stock intank fuel pump with a bypass regulator and i made my own version of the slave cyl setup ive seen on here im sure im forgettin alot more but there it is took me about a year to get it back together and that was after it already had a 302 in it

So what did you do to lower it to sit like that?

Can you elaborate? Is that the DJM Dream Beam kit and the axle flip package?

Looks fantastic! I have the DJM 3"/4" kit on mine, but with the 3" body lift it is "Eh..."

Looking forward to getting rid of the 3" body lift this weekend though. Hoping to fit some 245 / 45 / 17 under the fender wells without any body work.

thanks a bunch......im not into the low rider aspect of much and i really hate the stifness of the ride so im actually workin on gettin coilovers and a 4 link put together for the back then it wont kill my lower back everytime i hit a bump

Oh, believe me I can understand the rough ride.

I have low profile tires of my truck right now and WOOF they ride horribly. That is the big incentive in getting rid of the body lift, once I get some real wheels and tires under the Ranger then it would ride much more reasonably. I am not a lowering nut either but on something that is both long and straight with few curves, a nice low stance does look good. My truck is a 1992, so the Ranger is really boxy.

Just say NO to low profile... Spendy and poor ride.

We lowered the boys truck with the DJM kit and it rides great. You reuse the factory springs with that kit and it rides just as good as it did from the factory. I was alway's against lowering because of the stiff ride, the boy really wanted to lower the truck and we found this kit so I agreed and it rides as good as it ever did. Actually with a set of sway bars it corners four times better than it did.
