Been seeing some nasty floods in what I think is your area. Everything ok?

Yes we are ok here, all the farmland is under water but the house, shop, grain bins etc are all on high ground so all is good. We had enough of a warning we got all the equipment up and dry. There is a lot of water here, higher than I have ever seen it. The older locals even say they have never seen it like this. Just sit and wait for water to go down now.

Thanks for asking.

Good to hear your all safe. Not sure how close you are to the Mississippi but if we get a quick thaw with rain, there'll be a lot of water heading your way. Lots of towns up here in Southern Wis and Northern Illinois set new snow fall records this year. Remember flying over St. Louis area when the last big flood hit, couldn't believe it.

The Mississippi doesn't affect us, it's about an hour away. They are already talking about that on the news around here. They say it could be a bad year along the Mighty Muddy this year. Could be worse than 93 when things were devastated around here. Never a dull moment in SE Missouri, if you don't like the weather just hang out a while and it will change.
