can someone tell me why this is not working. my harness didnt have a fuel pump relay so i am using my existing one, but i cant seem to gey it to work.http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii24 ... /truck.jpg

hot at all times at 87 on the relay, dg/ye at #30, but I dont think that matters. make sure the red wire at 86 comes off the switched side of the eec relay. and 85 lb/og goes to pin 22 at the pcm. make sure you have power at both hot wires (bk/ye all the time, red key on). make sure you get a ground on the lb/og through the pcm. if thats ok check for power at dg/ye when you cycle the key. it will only last 3 seconds or so , you may want to get an assistant if you cant get to it quick enough. if you dont get power at dg/ye and everything else is ok, the relay may be bad. jump bk/ye to dg/ye and see if the pump runs. if you jump it and it doesnt run check for power at the inertia switch, if thats ok go to the pump. remember to grounds are your friends.
