i dunno man i bought it in the fall when he snow was on the ground and i got it flat bed to my shop and thats were she has been ever since

your green one has a 289 in it? and it came in it when you bought it?

yeah guy said it had a 289 in it and since i have take the motor out and taken it apart i have found out the it really was just a regular 302 and it had a old 289 intake on it

my '86 had a '65 289 in it and just about everything on the motor would be interchangeable so are you 100% sure it is a 302 block, since the old 289 was made from the same style block as the 302 it was just a different bore and stroke, and from what I learned about ti I hear it is a stronger motor wit more power especialy if it was a "K" model 289 which came stock with 271HP!!!

yes i'm 100% sure on that it is a 302 my buddy who races mustangs and runs 7's and works at a mustang shop evan checked it out cnt wait for spring some minior changes are in the works for this truck that will be kept secret till its done an running
