motor mounts

hey i've seen alot of people ask about motor mounts and stuff...i just wanted to say that all i did was remove the stock ranger mounts and then i cut about a 5 inch piece of 3 inch channel iron and cut a hole in it to mate it perfectly to my 302 mounts(84 f150 type mounts) i then lowered the engine into the truck and got it where i wanted it, marked the spot, pulled the engine out and then welded in the channel iron....it works great and there is still plenty of room to get to the motor mount nut....just my two cents worth....p.s. it was also very cheap...less than 5 bucks!
