Any one out there know anything about the M5OD-R4 transmission? Supposed to be out of a F-150, year not known. Would seem to be a good fit in a Ranger swap. Has about the same gear ratio as the T-5 but with less of a drop between 4th and 5th. Searched all over the net trying to find out more about it and where it is/was used. No idea of the torque rating. Would have no need for the $750 adapter kit. Just exploring more options.
Ratios are - M5OD-R4 / M1HD 3.38 2.06 1.30 1.00 0.79 .
