T5 hydraulic fitting etc...

Post by rngrmat »

I found that Mcleod has the -4an fitting that plugs into the ranger clutch master. Available at Summit MCL-139026 very expensive but available. $42 After much debate about the external slave cylinder and me not liking the way it looked and functioned, I went with the Mcleod slip on hydraulic clutch release bearing. It was also expensive ($298) but it is an amazing piece. I talked with their tech line and he stated that this bearing is designed to be used with a clutch master with a 3/4" bore. Instantly, I bought it. I remember getting the advice from you guys earlier about an external slave being more serviceable, but I realized that this T5 is 100% easier to pull than my old AOD primarily due to the fact that the bell housing can stay attached to the block. It was good advice but i'm stubborn. I will let you know how it works out. I am only waiting for the hose for it to be operational.
Thanks!
