i need some pix of cowl hoods on yall's rangers.. 93 up... so i can see what it will look like on my 96 extended cab.. also need info (like a 2 or 2 1/2 inch) on where you got it and a round about price plz ....... send them to my inbox that way ill surely get them and see them.... thanks in advance.........

Mine is in paint jail right now, so no installed pics. I was thinking "I'll probably mess the paint up a little". Now I'm just convinced I'll never see the thing again.

Stock hood, cowl is for a Fox body Mustang. I shortened it considerably. The body lines happen to run parallel, lucky coincidence.

yea... i looked on Google .... didnt like most of the images that it brought up ... was just also tryin to see where i could get one ,,, on the cheap ......lol ........

well its not a ranger but I can show you the cheep way i made a cowl for my 350 swaped mazda rx7..

so first I figured out where I wanted the cowl to go .. and layed down the lines and cut threw the outer layer of the hood ..

we then took some 14 gauge sheet steal and made some sides .

I bought the cowl insert on ebay for 85.

2.5" Functional Steel Hood from airbagit.com. IIRC I paid $250- Last I looked I didn't see it on the website.
