tranny ID

im getting a t5 for my truck is there way to tell if its out of a v8 or a 4cyclinder like ID code or a tag

There should be a alum tag bolted to the top, number like 1352-???. I've got a chart that uses that number, tells what from and the torque rating.Another clue is the diameter of the input shaft. Most it not all the the 4-cylinders measure .59 while the v-8 measures .688. Input shafts are 7.41 long for the 4-cylinder and 7.18 for the v-8.
