new to site

hi, im new 2 this site . have just got my first v8 ranger . its not running yet . traded 4 it with a86 lincoln mark 7 5.0 and aod trans just installed this person couldnt finish it . the truck is a88 model swb reg cab and previosly had another 5.0 . originally it was a 4 cyl 5 spd. all the fuel lines and hi psi pumps r gone. i plan to change it all over 2 a carb and some type electronic ign. going all stock 4 now and get it going . maybe modify it later, im also on a budget also so it will be a slow go. have been reading a lot and learning a lot on here. may have to ask 4 info as this project goes along ,so thanks in advance 4 any help i may need or have already read.
