5.0 with a T5 swap in a 1997 ranger

im looking for any info on hooking up a t5 in my ranger.. Can i run a cable or do i have to put in a hydraulic system back into the truck

Welcome first of all! 95+% of the people doing the T-5 swap end up using a hydraulic set-up. Lots of different post on ways to use the hydraulic system. Even the newer Mustangs use it now. Sure others will add bunches of info. Will check later.

Lots of different ways people have done it, even see a lot of guys on Mustang site using the hydraulic in the early ones.

do you have mesurements for the bracket to mount the slave too or did you cut the plate too fit the area?

I started with a 6x6x.25" hot rolled steel plate and cut & drilled what I needed from there.
