Re: 1/4 mile ?
Welcome to a great site.... I have never run my truck at the track.. I would love to at least once just to see what it would do. But wife says, HELL NO!!!!... I'm kind of ok with that.. lol... maybe it wouldnt do as well as I think it would. Then I would be dissapointed and would have to spend more money.. lol...

Re: 1/4 mile ?
was that a blower for a mustang made to go on a carb?
Re: 1/4 mile ?
Yes, Its a Paxton supercharger for a Mustang. You have to have a blow thru carb. A regular carb wont work. I only have it at 6 pounds of boost. I have thought about changing the pully and bumping it up to 9. But I dont drive it much and things are kind of tight right now. So im not spending and money i dont have to.. It sure woke it up thats for sure...

Re: 1/4 mile ?
hi, I've not been on here in a while, but have ran 11.80s with my truck. the engine was a 302 stroked to 331 with afr 185 aluminum heads, custom roller cam, victor jr intake. c4 trans 3.73 gears, it dynoed 330hp to the wheels. couple links to youtube below of the 331. The pics are the new setup, which is 351 roller, mp gt45 turbo and blow thru holley it should put me in the low 11's maybe high 10's if I want to push it.

Re: 1/4 mile ?
Mark got that nailed down pretty good! Well, sure never heard anything even being close to being bad about DSS. Was just talking to a guy down near their place. He's starting to get the itch to keep lowering them times. Told him the first 100 hp is about 1/4 of what the next 100 hp will cost. Good luck and get busy!carvinmark wrote:Sorry man, that sucks.faststang90 wrote:the motor sounds like a rod knocking so no track. time to start saving money. i think i may go to a dss 347 short block for about 2100.00.
