Hate to say it but I've gone Green!

Post by Dave »

No sillys, not the Gore Green - Ranger. Going to pick this up Monday. Don't want to go thru another Winter without a 4x4 and I may not get the motor in the other 2000 by then. He detailed and really cleaned up from these Spring shots

The trucks options are:"Off Road" Package (4X4, tow hooks up front, fogs, 245/75/16s, skidplates under the front, the trans, and the gas tank, HD 3.73 diffs)
step bars
drop in bed liner
leather tonnue bed cover
Heavy duty hitch with 4 and 7 pin power
electric 4X4 (this is a late model year 2000 which means it has the permanently locked front hubs, and a revised Diff known for being problem free)
Fog lights
Charcoal interior with center console (rather unusual/rare in rangers)
Suicide rear doors (not all super cabs are 4 doors, just most)
4.0 OHV V-6
5R55E Transmission (5 speed auto)
"Premium Audio" (Cassette and CD player in the headunit)

'66'Ranchero 302/5 speed
2015 Stage 3 Roush - rated at 670 hp
2000 Ext Cab/4 door swap project
2000 Ext Cab/4 door, Summer beater
2000 Ext Cab/4 door, Winter beater
1969 Fairlane Cobra in Barn, just waiting

Bad news, it was not as advertised. Driven enough of these things to notice the rpm and speed were off. Got home and checked the door and rear end tag and it's not the 3.73 but the 4.10 Runs really good for the miles. Some minor details are rough but it's a 11 year old truck. Guy fired up his '98' V-8 with the M-90 blower on it and it sure sounded good.

I think they were standard on the off road package. Open rear but I have a spare No-Slip to put in it.
