Post by Soul »

Intake is being sandblasted and front timing cover is on mustang still..... Other than that be ready to go in as soon as I pull a trans.

Looking good man! Wish it was in my shop, lol. On my front cover I had to cut a large chunck out on the inside to clear the gear drive. When you going to fire it up?

Bet you can't wait! What did that oil pan come off of? That plug on the side looks like one for the level sensor, where is the one for the dip stick? Don't forget to plug the EGR holes in the back of those heads.

Oil pan and block 90 mustang, pipe plug fixed Oil sending problem. Heads don't have EGR provision.

Boy now I feel stupid about that oil pan. I have been looking at this pan on the corner table for a year now. It has the dip stick in the pan. Old guy had another brain cramp!

The major delay is the trans, I need to pull 3 motor/trans. I need front timing cover off 94 mustang and accessories + motor mounts (dad wants trans out of it), 93 Tbird (this is the donor for my trans since funding shrivled) and 87 ranger (to make room for v8 lol). I might jump on it this weekend but its cold, and I hate the cold.
