Bored, what ET for 1/8th mile

Post by Soul »

Just curious, 7.5 rear with 3.55's. Any idea what is a factory rim I can stuff under it (width wise) to get some better traction.

3.45's or 3.73"s? The 3.55 was an 8.8" only (or 8-9") You can stuff some big ones under there but tire compound has a lot to do with the grip also. Some have used a 275 all the way up to a 305 or larger. One line of thinking is that it's better to get slipage at the rear than really stress the other parts of the driveline.
