Built Ford Tough!

Post by Dave »

Just a few pictures of how the crumple zone does work. Guy going to work on a two lane mountain road in a slight fog/wet road. Comes around a corner doing five over and there is a stalled car in his lane. He sverves to miss it and goes over the edge. All he got was a broken wrist. Look how the cockpit remained rather intact. He had 700 miles on the car. Drive safe out there!

No, just got mine out of storage last Sat, need to go thru it, get it all cleaned up. Really waant to get a Dyno run just to see what all it's got now. Pictures sure are a good reminder just how quick these things can snap around you on slick roads. think Malcolm can tell you that even on a straight ,d dry road, you'r better not be sleeping. take care down there!

WOW That would suck to loose a car like that....... I guess it was better to have it happpen with only 700 miles of driving on it, that way you didnt get to attached to it... lol....ya right, I have a feeling he was still bumming pretty bad....

That sucks. Maybe the wheels are salvagable.
