Has anyone used a zf s5 42 5speed transmission in their swap.

I don't believe anyone has, I was going to and have a rebuilt one in the garage. They have the really low 5.13 first gear, trully a truck shifting transmission. Would be a great choice for a rock climber.

Yes I would like to get it out of the garage. Any chnace you would need the matching 1356 transfer case also? Another hugh hunk of iron but strong. They were both rebuilt by Paul's transmission in PA.
I'm up here in Stevens Point so shipping wouldn't be a problem. I'm home most of the time, not really working now.
