Rangers gonna stay out of commision for a little while

Post by jbaer619 »

Since I blew the tranny at the desert its not working right now and I had a couple of choices: I could use the 2300 I saved up to fix it, or I could get a 95 5.0l mustang for 2500 and very slowly turn the ranger into a strictly desert truck, or I could go in with my mom and buy this house for 30,000 then rent it out and after about 6 months get 5,000 to drop into the ranger... So I chose the investment and what I'm gonna do with the 5k is beef up the tranny to like an A-5 ( astro's "bullit proof t-5) Get a 3 row aluminum radiator (upgrade from my 1 row brass radiator) then drop twin turbos in it. The only problem is that the 6 months is gonna be hell. So what do you guys think?
94 5.0l ranger, 6 in. lift in front 0 in back, pro-comp shocks w/ res. camburg springs, f-150 bent i-beams and radius arms, flared fiberglass fenders all around, 33 in. bfg muds with 4.56 posy rear end
