I'm pretty sure I'll be buying one.

I was tinkering around with the idea of coming up with my own design for doing this, but I'd rather pay $50 than duplicate work that's already been done...especially if it works. After all, the price is right.

Malcolm, are you including complete instructions and testing procedures?

I do include some basic installation instructions and hardware. You get the module itself of course, some wire splice connectors in case you can't solder or don't want to. Ring terminal for battery negative, zip ties to tidy up wires and some larger ones to secure the unit should you choose to secure it up under your dash somewhere and some double sided sticky foam to secure it that way if you choose.

Here's a picture of what you get. Additional hardware received may not be exactly as pictured depending on current availability.

Malcolm, will this work on all year rangers?? and if so, you designed this to be able to use the stock tach?? Steve(florida)

Correct. This allows you to use your stock tach with the V8. I don't have every year Ranger available to me for testing but as far as I can tell yes it will work on all year Rangers.

I'd imagine it would work on any ford, and probably lots of other makes, too.
