New Vehicle

Post by bigburl »

A member of my church has given me a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is a 4.7 v8, automatic, 4wd. The transfer case has a hole in the bottom and it appears that it had no grease when it broke. So, I need a transfer case. Does anyone know anything about jeeps and whether the transfer case is an easily obtained item. This car is pretty nice and I could really use a second car right now. as always any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm not sure if the transfer case is the same as the one in the Dodge Dakota's. But I just found a few on www.used-car-parts.com and they had them for about $500 ish.
