Mustang rear-end gears
will mustang 8.8 gears fit in a ranger 8.8 with no problem and would my axles work fine?

yes. you may have to swap the ring to your ranger carrier if you want to keep the abs tone ring. make sure the ring and pinion stay together, they are a matched set. youll need a new crush collar and may or may not need carrier shims.

not so much centered, I was talking about transfering the ring and pinion into the ranger housing. if the ranger 8.8 has a 3.55 and the mustang has a 3.73 you could change the ring and pinion, the housings stay in the car.
If you are talking about replacing your ranger 7.5 with a complete mustang 8.8, I would have it done. there are guys here that have swapped over an explorer rear themselves and done it right.
