Sounds really nice Larry. I hope to be able to hear mine sometime soon. How did you drop your truck? BTW, how is your back?

Thanks

I lowered the front with lowered I beams and the rear with a flip kit. The I beams are Trailmaster no longer made.

The back is doing alot better its been 8 weeks today and I stilll have some minor glithches but they seem to be residing. I am comfortable with what ever the results are and God not the doctors are responsible for my healing.

It does have the distinctive Flowmaster rumble.

Regretably my exhaust doesn't sound nearly that nice. But I also didn't spend the money for Flowmasters either. I got plain $30 turbo mufflers.

Although even straight off the headers before I got the exhaust installed, my truck wasn't nearly as loud or as raw as I expected so I doubt Flowmasters on my engine would've sounded like that anyway. I've been told most of the tone of an engine has to do with the cam. That would certainly explain it since I still have the stock Explorer cam which is very conservative.

Sounds good. My blue truck probably sounds the quietest of everyones. It's a total sleeper. F150 muffler, you can't even hear it's a v8 :)

If you never plan to do any engine mods, that's probably the best option.

Don't get me wrong, the exhaust sounds better than the ricers with the fart cans and better than most V6s, but it certainly doesn't have the distinctive aggressive rumble. In time, it will...My house that was supposed to sell in Dec, got delayed. It's still under contract, but the buyers were denied getting out of their lease until sometime in Feb or March. My gut feeling is, it'll fall through but hopefully not.

Well my red truck is loud, the Cobra is fairly loud, I just decided to try something different and since it's a daily driver I figured what the hell, sleeper it is :) Sure surprises people who try and pass me etc. because they had no clue my truck was about to pull the way it does.
