Good buy on Boss motor assembly

Post by Dave »

Seen a couple of suppliers at one of the Mustang sites selling the Boss block and all forged interanls for $1999. They say that's about $1100 off normal pricing. Out of my price range or needs right now - but for all you power hungry people out there with an understanding wife. Motor does need the final bore or hone and bearings but it sure sounds like a good deal.

Its probably way cheaper than a used boss out of a stang. But you also gotta add heads and upper stuff that aint cheap. Id say on the cheaper end you would have about $4K in the engine. Not bad for a new boss
