Fuel Level Sending Unit resistances

Post by cgrey8 »

I remember that there is a difference between 83-88 Ranger fuel level sending units and 89-up sending units. Both the Full/Empty resistances were different AND backwards making 83-88 fuel sending units incompatible with 89-up Ranger dashes and vice-versa.

Does anybody remember what those resistances were? I tried searching to find the thread where that was discussed, but I cannot find it now.

That's it. I thought I remembered the info came from the old forum. I just didn't remember I'd typed that response before.

Any time man. Actually the site goes back even further than that. Anyone know when I started the site? Even before I purchased the v8-ranger.com domain this site was hosted as a geocities site I started with V8 Ranger swap info since I couldn't find anything else like it or any information on doing such a swap.
Guess the year (even I don't remember the exact month lol).
