What I'm Starting With.....

Post by 95sanger »

Pic was taken last Thanksgiving at Glamis Kalifornia. I bought this truck off of a used car lot that didn't know what they had. What do ya think?

West Coast thing these Prerunners, ALL suspension 2wd. Front is a Camburg 5.5 kit with around 12 inches of travel with Sway Away 2.0 remote reservoir shocks , rear includes reverse shackles and Deaver leaves with 3.0 King triple bypass 16" shocks strapped at 14" droop. 33" BFG Mud T/As for the street and desert and 14.50x15 Sand Tires Unlimited paddles for the dunes (rear only). Rear axle is a Trac Loc 410 ratio. Glassworks bedsides and fenders, engine is a 4.0 with smog legal headers, intake and throttle body, 5 spd manual, Bed cage and bumpers are all one off. Typically four wheel drive isn't necessary (as long as ya stay ON the gas). Unlike most four wheel drive lifts this style of suspension is all about the droop, upward travel and controlled compression is key once full droop is reached. The ranger is the most popular as they are relitively cheap and the frames hold up well.
