AOD transmission mount

Post by painterdude923 »

I bought a new mount for an 80s mustang. I believe it is too tall! Holds the trans up too high and close to the body. Can't get the driveshaft in. Can anyone that has an AOD in their ranger give me some help?what trans mount did you use?

I know this is probably late but on my son's 85 we used the original mount....all we had to do was oval out the tranny mount holes in cross member a little....it even bolted right in the factory holes in the frame. Truck was originally a 2.3 with a 5 speed
