Re: Shhh...
Glad to hear the 331 is up and running. You never did build it for power though right? wasn't it a good gas mileage build. What kind of mileage are you getting? How long till it flips over to propane? Speaking of alternative fuels I saw one running on coffee this morning lol. Let me find the link qu...

Re: Tuning time!!!
I'm not really worried about SCT datalogging because my Innovate LM-2 will datalog and I have access to Fords IDS scan tool. You'll eat those words :D Once you get into it more you'll find datalogging is absolutely invaluable and quite frankly it's completely impossible to correct a ton of things i...

Re: Anybody use E85?
Very cool spreadsheet Chris, I'm curious to see what my real world mpg numbers are on E85 after running out a couple tanks.

Re: Anybody use E85?
For some reason that station doesn't even carry 87. All they have is 89, 91 and the various ethanol options. I probably won't try all those other blends. When I put E85 in and crank the boost up I want the most protection possible. They sell test kits to check the fuel and see if it's really E85 or ...

BTW - how's this for a variation in gas. I didn't realize I'd have so many choices when I went up there

Re: Anybody use E85?
Chris, I also noticed the cold cranking increase. My car sits in the garage over night which is around 60F and I had to blip the key twice each time so far as I'm so used to just barely tapping it on 91. I'm curious to see how much additional cranking it takes when I leave the car out and it's 20F o...

Anybody use E85?
I read so much on E85 and know people that use it etc. but never touched it myself till recently. There are only two gas stations near me that have E85 and one is about 15 miles north of me and the other about 15 miles south. Not exactly a setup for a daily driver but non the less I wanted to experi...

Dave, I've had many donation offers over the years and I've always respectfully declined. Unfortunately the banner ads don't even pay for 1/10th of the cost of this site. With upcoming server fees, storage costs etc. I may just consider donations. I'll start a new thread as to not clutter up Chris' ...

Re: This is just WILD
I've seen that table saw and technology years ago. I'm amazed it's never caught on and made it to every table saw at Sears and likewise. I'm assuming there's still a lot of bugs to work out or something. Perhaps moisture in the wood causes false triggers or a dry finger doesn't trigger it every time.

Re: And the 331 project finally begins...
I completely agree. It's opened up a world of possibilities for so many people myself included. My turbo project would never have been possible without the internet. At least not to the high quality it got done. Almost every project I work on has a high degree of information out on the internet some...

Sweet, easy fix I like those. Sometimes all it takes is someone to mention some ideas and one of them will trigger a light bulb for you.
