dont know if it helps but snap-on makes a 10mm 1/4" drive swivel socket that works really good for getting to the pcm connector. use the socket and a long extension to loosen the connector then reach under the dash above the e-brake and wiggle the pcm out. socket is about $25

on the drivers side i'm really close to the firewall. i've "clearanced" it some but i dont wnat to go to far, i'll loose gas pedal travel. also need to trim the gearbox a little. on the right side #1 cyl tube is resting on the framerail so header bolts wont start. i can raise the engine up...

did you pull the spout connector when you set timing? the little grey plug near the tfi module. you're supposed to when you set base timing. i've never set them higher than 14 btc and you married it to premium gas (93 at least). if you pulled the spout and its set at 20 i wouldnt leave it at that. a...

i'll try to send some pics tonight, the #1 tube rests on the frame so i'm gonna try to space the motor up an inch, #5 tube hits an ear on the top of the gearbox, but again that inch will help. its gonna be close to the booster but theres a guy with the same set up in a bronco 2, i'll get a link to t...

i had called l&l before i got the torque monsters and they told me they would fit but you would need a thin wall socket to get the plugs in/out. looks like they fit just as bad as the hooker super comps i first tried. thanks for doing the leg work for me. looks like i have to make the torque mon...

i'm really striking out. i have a couple of the female ends that attach to the manifold (mostly 4.6 stuff from town cars and grand marquis) and the end that attaches to the egr valve is male threaded. so no luck yet. even my old 3.0 has a male end at the egr valve.

which end of the tube do you need? the manifold end or the egr end? its not uncommon for them to break and there may be some around the shop. if you can make the tube i might be able to get some nuts.

ford shows different part numbers for parking brake cables for 9 or 10 inch drums for an 89. the proportioning valve is integral to the rabs valve and i only show one part number for that. you may have to find different parking brake cables and get them to work. you'll probably be able to reattch th...
