Ken, thanks for signing up and taking the time to clarify. It's nice to see a guy who stands behind his product and is interested in helping his customers (and other Ford fans) instead of just making a quick buck and moving on.

Thanks

Malcolm, that seems very difficult to believe, however experience, testing, and published articles know way better than I do. Here's exactly what it says in the doc belltech faxed me. I'll type it word for word. "First of all, the driveline is always setup with the driveshaft with at least one...

I wonder if there's some resonant vibration that could creep up when some drive shafts rotate at a constant angular velocity/RPM (no angle on the UVs). No it's not vibration. I remember reading about it in the articles Belltech emailed me. I think it said when you don't run any angle the u-joints a...

I don't know all the reasons but if you look under a Ranger you'll notice that with out the off set the drive shaft would go right through the gas tank. I'm sure they have lots of other reasons, perhaps someone will chime in with some answers.

Chris, I don't remember that part of the video exactly but I think what Ken was saying is that 28 spline axles are usually found in equal length rearends such as the Mustang and 31 spline axles are commonly found in un-equal length housings like the Explorer. There is no rule to that. You can swap a...

Is there an EEC programmer tool available that someone would recommend (preferably one that will act as an interface between the EEC and a laptop) and feedback real-time data back to the laptop so adjustments can be made while the engine is running? The tweecer allows real time monitoring. You can ...

That looks like it could be a really good book. How detailed do they go into the programming, control algorithms, sequence of operations, and failure contengencies when sensors are detected bad/missing? They don't go into the programming of the unit but they cover all the different modes it runs in...

You might try calling L&L and see what price they will give you on just the adapter pieces and no hoses and then make your own from steel braided hoses and -AN fittings. Not that making those hoses will save you a whole lot but you'll have the hoses exactly the way you want them. In fact buildin...

The thing I really like about this style is you position it how you like and then tighten down the center bolt to secure it. The TD style spins on to tighten down and where ever it tightens up is where your hoses will be pointing. For me personally that did not work out. Few pics over here. http://w...

Dave brings up a good point about threads. I picked up two large tap and die kits from harbor freight.. One metric and one standard. Even though they're kinda cheap and wouldn't take a lot of abuse they are great for figuring out what size threads you're working with and good for cleaning out thread...

I just went to a local hardware store and picked up a few misc bolts that looked about the right size. Probably took 2 trips. No big deal.

Yes I got mine coated. The nickel coating looks quite nice. When I first fired up my engine and got it hot a few of the header pipes got a small discoloration right on the bend. About a 2 x 1/2" area. Likes colored almost like when you drop some oil in water and see how the light catches it. It...
