Got the Engine bay painted, corvette red, really nice deep color. :D Unfortunately some where along the way somebody stole the passenger side air bag. :cry: Got the Truck back from the folks towing it and the cover was hanging by the modulator wires. How hard are they to replace and is a salvage yar...

I am full opf questions to day. On the 97 Ranger there is a "rubber" U joint set up for the steering column. This rubber joint sets very close to the headers. Any one have any experiance with a problem with this" rubber" set up? I am wondering if I need to go to a metal U joint f...

Getting ready to take the project "money pit" in to get the engine bay painted. I can't get the heater A/C box off the fire wall, I got all the top nuts off but the bottom of the box seems to be attached and hanging up, feels like I am missing a fastener. :( Does anyone know how the box is...

I am puting a C4 in my project and am thinking about using a Loker shifter with the remote gear indicator. Any one have experiance with this set up or have recommendations? :?:

Thank you for the comments. :) I am planning on using the black coating for the headers. It is a bit expensive thought. :( I am still engineering fuel lines and next will check out the heater boxfor clearance.

I have a book I got on ranger swaps. The guy had done some really neat stuff with 80's model rangers, convertables etc and one big block, on the big block he had to notch the frame to fit the radiator. Cgrey8 I met a fellow at a car show who used jet hot on a project and it looked great years later. I am worried about heat in the engine bay and how to reduce it.
