Best of luck with all that, sounds like a complicated situation. You got to follow the $ so hope your girlfriend understands and cares enough to help make it all work out

Re: The T5 in my Ranger is hurt!
If work was going better (self employed) I would treat myself to a stronger trans . I can still drive it how it is but not as enjoyable as it was. I just got a big log home to finish up so I don't even have time to swap it yet. My girlfriend said to put the WC T5 in and drive it like a normal person...

Re: The T5 in my Ranger is hurt!
I have a world class t5 that I was going to run in the Falcon so I may have to put it in the truck instead. Money is very tight right now or I would be searching for a t56

Re: 1/4 mile ?
I find it hard to get in the 10's with a small block unless you have lots of cash in it but I love those high RPM's so that keeps me running those screaming small blocks.

Hate to dog on the guy but it reminds me of "more money than brains". I guess if he has deep enough pockets it must be ok.

Re: Inner cylinders rich, outer cylinders lean??
Good looking plum crazy Charger, he better get the problem fixed befor the Nitros, nitros causes a lean cylinder condition so you can feed more fuel. With the few lean cylinders allready, he's going to be very sad when he hits it.

Re: Need help with transmission selection
You would most likely have to modify the shifter to fit, any small 4 or 5 speed will work.

Re: Tri Y headers, '83-'97 Ranger, sn95 trans
Some pics of a 93 bell housing next to the 94/95 bell housing from when I built my red truck http://www.v8-ranger.com/red/t5/t5.php There is sure a lot of diff between them. Looks like the 95 would be much easier to bleed the slave cylinder with the fork lower than the 93. The pics are exactly what...
