it goes to show you its the little things that count. when i had the tranie out i noticed that there were some little biger than pin holes in the welding around the 02 bungs. while i had it apart i went ahead and welded them up. low and behold i am now getting around 14 mph versis less then 9 before...

i know this is sort of off the normal v8 stuff put does anybody know of a alternate carb for a 88 2.0 i was going to replace it or rebuild it but a carb is 500.00 and a rebuild kit is 225.00. heck i only paid 400 for the truck. are there any 2 barrels out there that would work from the older one of ...

on my 98 exployer motor the fuel lines hooked right up to my ranger lines at the frame by the carbon canister. i had the exployer lines all the way to the next connection. i scored on a 98 exployer (complete car) for my swap.

if i was to go to a carbed setup on my 98 exployer 5.0 what would be a good chose? it is just a stock set up. im looking for low end torchbecause of the 4x4 set up.

everythings is clean or new. i know the tps for the exployers has no adj. because the exployer computer reads what ever at startup and goes from there. i havnt heard if anybody else is using the exployer tb and mass air and a a9l on here and not having any issues. i know malcolm is using a mustang i...

the tps on the exployer is nonadjustable as far as i know. there is no way to move the tps.

here is a thought. if my eec thinks that im at full throttle all the time it would run rich. that is if my tps is screwed up. this off the subject but it has been snowing for 2 days and in the teens here. rain i can deal with snow and really cold sucks. i work out side.

the c4 is 3 speed and third is 1 to 1. the 4r70w i think is .64 to 1 in od. i was suprised at the weight. i went to the dump last year and on the weigh out there was a 88 short box 2 wheel ranger in front of me and he weighed out at about 2800. when i got on the scales it was a little over 4300. wha...

ok here goes. i had to pull my trans because of a leak. because my exhaust is so tight it just works better to remove the exhaust (cut). well here is the problem looking into the exhaust it is just black with carbon. my milage is about 10-12. i have 3:73 and at 70-75 you can watch the gas gauge move...
