Re: mufflers
i have flowmaster 40's w/2.5 exhaust sounds nice at idle. when you wind it out it sounds like the older muscle cars. raps out pretty nice. at 70 on the freeway they are loud. of course that is about 3200 rpms.

Re: auto tranny problem
you didnt say what type tranny? if you didnt get the pump ingaged with converter it isnt pumping fluid into the converter. losen one of your tranny lines and see if it is pumping fluid. if it is a c4 the converter slips in then it turns alittle and then silps into the pump. but usually if you dont g...

Re: C4 and Gas Mileage
8 isnt to far off for milage. my 93 4X4 ranger has a c4 and a stock exployer 5.0 and i get fourteen if i dont drive it like i stole it or go over 60 on the freeway. with 373's i run about 3200 at 60. it's better with 35" on 17's but if i take it up to 70 i drop down to the 10 for milage.

Re: Hello out there
my truck was getting around 12 or 13 before now it is 14 to 15. i was supprised with the gain but everylittle bit counts. i pretty much drive the same route to and from work. 50 55 for about half the 30 miles. when i noticed it i used my gps to check milage for two weeks and it worked out to 1-2 mil...

Re: Hello out there
i had to have mine made. because the truck is sopost to have a cat on it i had a heck of a time finding someone to put exhaust on it. after it was all said and done it cost me 400 bucks and i supplied the flowmaster 40's. if i had to do it again i would probley not use the 40's. they sound really ni...

Re: Hello out there
i usally dont fall for claimes like this but i was watching horsepower tv and they did a dyno test on a 350 motor using different plugs to see if the claims were true. they did 3 brands of pluges on the same motor and conditions. and the e3 showed a 10+% increase in power and milage. for me the 50 b...

Re: Hello out there

Re: 96 explorer v8 radiator
i looked at putting a 98 exployer rad in my 93 and they are pretty tall and you have to cutup a lot of the front support for it to work. i put a heavy duty ranger in my truck and havnt had any problems with it. of course i leave in wash. and we normal dont get really hot weather. i picked up one on ...
