dont cut them.
Not cut is for a 8 cylinder. one cut a 6 cylinder. Both are a 4 cylinder. I have the same exact tach and remember reading that.
Find a difference keyed power source. Hook green to coil negative. Check to make sure you have a good ground.

Re: Tach help please
I'm not entirely sure, but I dont think you need it hooked into that box your showing. Computer stuff I dont know... but green I know is tach feed. Hook that to coil negative. Red is power(keyed), white is the shift light or the light, I dont remember. and black is ground. If you think the tach is o...

Re: Fuel pump problems
About the over heating problem, I thought that was the problem, but I let the truck set in the driveway and run, it never dies. I would think that driving down the road would cool the pumps. Or is there more stress on the pumps? They would pump the same no matter what, wouldn't they?I think I will ...

http://www.jegs.com/i/Holley/510/36-181/10002/-1 Buy em once and you have a jet for no matter what the hell you do. :) First thing that popped up in Jegs, I'm sure they sell small kits if you look though. You might need a smaller accelerator pump to.... just something to consider. Holley carbs are ...

Re: blow thru carb questions
A 750 on a 300 cubic inch supercharged engine is no where near to big. I dont know what to suggest as far as re-jetting, but you will be much better off finding someone that can give you a baseline rather than buying a new carb.

Re: blow thru carb questions
Wanna go into a little more detail? $500 would be alot to dump on a carb because yours is over-jetted or has to big of an accelerator pump. Check over at sbftech... those guys will definitely point you in the right direction. Are you sure your maintaining steady fuel pressure by the way? like a gau...

Re: blow thru carb questions
You dont think your carb works right? :? I know of plenty of people that dont use blow thru carb's on a supercharged/blown engine. I was always under the impression that blow thru carbs are only necessary when they are in between the forced induction and the engine, such as in a turbo setup or a pro...

If you change the timing cover to an older style, than you can use one. I dont know what year you would have to use though.

Re: fuel pumps
If you hate the noise so much, use a mechanical pump. All electric pumps make noise.

Re: Fuel pump questions
Well, even if it does, just take it as an example. You get what you pay for. Pro-comp sucks, and people/dealers do pretty good passing off there crap to people who dont really take the time to research the parts they are buying. We all (or at least me and everyone I know) have or do make that mistak...

Re: WIRING
The power probably goes from the fuse box, to the pedal/button/sender/ whatever and then out through the firewall in the main harness, then down underneath the truck on the frame.

Re: Fuel pump questions
If you do hear it, it will only be when it turns on before you start the engine. I remember in Rojam's video that the pump was super loud when he turned it on, but as soon as the truck started, the engine/exhaust/blower made way to much noise to be able to hear the fuel pump. My holley blue pump (wh...

Re: Fuel pump questions
I dont know what he has it regulated at, probably 6 1/2 pounds. Like Rojam said, dont go over 7 pounds. I made that mistake by hooking up the fuel pump without a regulator, which is about 14 pounds with my holley blue pump. Gas shoots up out of the two vents on the carb and makes a hell of a mess.
