Tue there is many combinations my ranger is an 87 extended cab. I remember reading some where that you need about 1/2 to 3/4 inch minimum yoke clearance or slide of yoke with the vehicle on the ground .

I have a T5 in my 87 ex cab Ranger with split bench seat. I took a stock Mustang shifter and bolted on backwards. It works great.

I had problems with the same type of adapter you have and after 2 of them I ordred the L&L and no more problems. Well worth the money. I bought only the block adapter and retained the actual filter mount.

Are the wheels Cragar stars? I like them?
