Will a fox body rear end mount under my 90 ranger? Are there any width issues? Thanks in advance,
Larry

Chris, Ifound the link when I clicked the link in your signature. His site indicates that heis only servicing corral, stangnet and a third that I don't recall right now. He has an e-mail link for corral users to order on. Currently V8 Ranger is SOL. I think Malcom is right about the market I'm not a...

DC Fan controls

Malcom, Saw this on another site and thought you and the other guys who are using them or are wanting to use them might find it interesting. Larry BTW are any of you guys members on stangnet.com? I might want to order a controller when my truck finally runs. Larry DCC Access ------------------------...

is the darker coloration on the shaft side indicate breakage at an earlier time or is it just light from the camera?

Master/slave cylinder connections

Has any one found the connector that plugs into the ford mastercylinder without buying the complete slave set up? I already have my slave and would like to use the a/n fittings. I just need the master connection. The plastic line from the original has already been cut so I can't re-use it. Thanks fo...

Seems to me that the problem with the bolts being loose is more to do with bolt stretch than anything else. After the flanges expand they are going to contract to something close to their original thickness. Once the bolts have stretched to compensate, they are not returning to the original length. ...

I'm too new to weigh in on this, but the reason that I went from a lurker to a member was the willingness of you guys to keep answering the same questions over and over. I'm sure that at times it gets old. Just one old man's observation.

Thanks bud, that's the easiest thing about this swap that I've encountered yet. On another note, is it safe to weld motor mounts to the cross frame? seems to me that putting the mount at the level of the cross frame instead of on top of it would allow the engine to sit considerably lower in the truc...

He's asking 125. for the complete setup. I don't know that I could fab what I need to to make it work. It isn't the actual fab work as much as being confident in the engineering. Broncobowsher, I can use two short side ranger axles in a four lug mustang housing? I hav an 89 mustang with a 410 posi a...

Curious about installing IRS

Have the opportunity to pick up a 327 posi IRS from a 1990 T-Bird Supercoupe. How much work is involved in something like this and will it even go under my ranger? I really appreciate that so many of you guys are willing to help. Maybe some day I'll be able to return the favor.

Body seam

I started laying over the seam across the bell housing tunnel last night. There is an extra piece of metal on the right side that looks to be a heat shield of sorts. Do I just lay everything over or should I try to remove this piece? Also will it hurt anything to saw some slits into the seam to make...

Oil pan

I'm perusing the junk yards this weekend looking for a double sump oil pan. Are all 302 double sump pans created equal? Is there something in particular that I should watch for? Will I need a new dip stick and tube to read the level correctly? My tube runs through the block by the way. Can I expect ...

Master and Slave cylinders

Seems to be plenty of information on external slave cylinders. Are most of you using the oem masters? Is this going to be another place to have to spend money? I'm having fun but there have been lots of surprises.

Hooker Headers and motormounts

I understand that with the hooker headers and their motormounts there is no modification necessary. Anyone using them? Do you have to use their mounts and what makes them special. I'm going with a 5.0 and t5 by the way. thanks in advance.
