He made a conversion kit from a cheap propane torch head and a fitting from the hardware store. Said he had $9 in the adapter. That then screws directly into my R134A fill hose on my guage set.

Using Propane as a AC refrigerant

Any A/c people want to tell me this is a bad idea? Just curious before I find out the hard way why it is a bad idea. I know it doesn't sound safe but my research is saying that it is not a horrible idea. guess its all relative. Propane is a very good refrigereant. Just appears that big business has ...

Getting Rid of my Ranger - 88 Extended Cab, 347, 9", C6

Updated on 2/10/2011. Not really looking for trades on bikes anymore. I have now aquired a small fleet of bikes and need to stop the madness. $7,000 OBO on the truck and extra parts. $1,600 OBO on the trailer - I wont sell the trailer before the ranger. >>>>>>>>>> http://s118.photobucket.com/albums...

Re: Toyota steering box swap

If it will work or you can make it work go for it.... That gives you more options on engine fitment and headers. Also you would no longer need to relocate the oil filter.

Re: v-8 swap cheap??

I dont care which method you go... if you want 400-500 RWHP than it aint going to be cheap. Everything has to be upgraded including your axles. Be prepared to shell out lots of benjamins.

Plus i didn't already have a ps pump and bracket so it was easier to goto manual. Bolts directly up. I also redid my steering shaft. Seems like the spline count on the manu...
