Re: Options for low profile FORWARD rotation water pumps for

Reverse rotation is the correct term, meaning the waterpump runs off the back of the belt, turning the opposite direction of the crank. For the OP, I would use the sn95 or Explorer pump. They have different spacing, but both use the same timing cover. I would then place the alternator where ever you...

Re: Lets Talk Cruise Control for A Sec

The cruise is independent of the engine computer for your year (1995), so there are no modifications necessary.

Re: haudraulic slave kit... all in one ....

Here's a thread on my clutch setup: http://www.rangerpowersports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=250266 Swapped my master cylinder yesterday. Haven't finished bleeding it yet, I was working alone. May tackle that today. Here's the pedal bracket that holds the stock 5/8" master cyl on the '95 and lat...

Re: haudraulic slave kit... all in one ....

My slave bracket is a piece of angle iron holding an '83 Ranger diesel slave.

I used an '89-ish Ranger v6 7/8" bore master, bolted directly to the firewall (like the '94 and older trucks).
To do this, I just removed a chunk of the cast pedal bracket where stock clutch master clipped in place.

Re: Gen 1 & Mustang convertible motor mounts

Some info for anyone searching Mustang mounts: The usual procedure is to bolt the mounts to the block, lower the engine into the position you choose, and mark where the studs hit the crossmember. This may or may not include a stock hole. Drill a hole where the crossmember is marked, then slot it dow...

Re: Converting from VSS ddto cable spedo

Re-read the build.

He can use the VSS from a Cruise Control equipped Fox body, or a '92-ish Ranger.
They had a VSS, with the wiring, and the cable bolted to that.

Re: Converting from VSS ddto cable spedo

I believe you should be able to just bolt in the cable.
I did exactly the opposite when installing a Mustang T5- they use a cable, bolted in my stock VSS.

Re: Trying to sort out the confusion

Look for a larger master cylinder. I'm using a 7/8" bore master from a '92-older Ranger, and modded my pedal bracket so it can be bolted to the fire wall. 1983/84 Ranger Diesel slave, braided line and Russel adapters from -AN to Ford fittings. Your stock master is 5/8" bore, and most slave...

Re: Wiring help ?????

See if you can read this. Dark writing on left refers to the Ranger 42 pin harness connector pin, then you see colour, then a reference to the pin number from the Mustang 60 pin ECU connection. You want to verify the Mustang circuit with a mulitmeter if you are unsure. Hope this helps. If you have a...

Re: Wiring help ?????

What do you need? The 42pin connector info? I can get that for you. Just bought a house/reno/moving/travel, so its not something i can do right away, but I believe most of my stuff in on this laptop. If you could read my writing I could give you my notes, lol... Give me a few days, happy to help! T
