Re: 92 f150 5.0 EFI into A 97 Ranger?

Why not pull the upper unit off and install one from a Mustang or Crown Vic? The truck upper is just taller. Just my opinion....LOL.

Re: cobra brakes

I'd really like to do this swap but......I have a few questions. First off; from what I can tell, no one is making the parts to do it now. The guy over at RPS isn't making them anymore. And, if your making a custom hub, why can't you use the hub off of a 95 Mustang? I've got a bud who has a complete...

Re: Bringing back a 5.0 Mustang for 2011

That new tube header design kinda reminds me of the old tri-y headers for the early 289's and 302's. I'm thinking that ne 5.0 would look good in an early model Ranger!

Re: Bringing back a 5.0 Mustang for 2011

That would be something. Bring back the 5.0 in the form of a mod motor. I love the new Mustang, except for the tail. They screwed the pooch on that one badly! Just my opinion mind ya.

I bought a '90 model Lincoln with a roller 302 and the right AOD. They are cheap nowdays.
Hope this helps some.

Re: i dont kow if this belongs here or not ......

Hey guys,
Found a video of a 351C on Youtube. This guy has several video's of his 351C Ranger. That Cleveland sure does look good in engine bay!
Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzb2rdfD ... re=channel

Re: i dont kow if this belongs here or not ......

C= Cleveland for the plant it was made in. Same for "W" = Windsor. Now as for which is a true BB or SB? 351w is a SB. I'd guess you could say the 351C is a BB. Who knows! This debate could go on for a while....LOL!

Re: i dont kow if this belongs here or not ......

351 Clevelands use the small block bellhousings.
Now, the 351"M" along with the 400 both use the big block 429/460 bellhousing.
Hope this helps some.

Re: Carlisle truck show

The engine looks like a Cleveland. Reason I say that is because of the water pump short hose. I have had a few M motors and one Cleveland and they all had that short hose in-between the water pump and intake.

Re: Hello out there

I honestly believe there is a difference between plugs. I once owned a '66 Ford F100 with a 351M in it. It had a Duraspark box on it and got around 11 to 12 mpg. I switched in some Splitfires and my mileage went up to almost 15 on the highway. It was such a big difference, I pulled them out, install...

Re: blow thru carb questions

If I remember right, both Holley and Demon have a blow thru carb. I think I saw it either in a Jegs book or at Ebay(where I tend to camp out looking for deals!)
Hope this helps some. :D

Re: Hello out there

I'm working on mine. Glad I have a/c in the shop cause, its getting hot here in Texas already! Hoping by next weekend I can bust the newer engine off and hear it run! Can't wait to side-step the clutch and watch those BF's burn! Chris, glad your stuff is treatable. I've lost to man...
